Scenario Paintball's Grand Finale Checklist

By Chester Windfield

So your getting ready for the Grand Finale? Do you have your checklist or are you procrastinating? For those of you that want to earn a coveted award, head's up this story is just for you and your team.

And now let me get on with it already... One of the first things you need to do is get registered and find out the team your going to be on and get the nitty gritty on your general. This is so you can contact him via email, phone or some secret code ring you use. This will give you a repor and could help you with that MVT award or just the MVP award. But don't forget this is about fun, not who has the most kills.

Well now you need some training, follow the rabbit Neo. And you need to start getting some practice with your teammates and practice some valuable tools to have. Lock and Load, Neo, ok enough with the Matrix and on with the list. The best advice that any scenario team needs to accept, is to team up with a tourney team for some well needed training. This is also a good time to designate positions. You need a point man, and you also need the best man on your team to be the rear guard protecting your rear from any flanking players. This is also a great time to figure out who's bringing the tent, who's bringing the grill and if your carpooling.

Now that the day you have been waiting and practicing all along for is here, what else do you need to do? Don't put it off, procrastinator! Another suggestion for your backpack is a set of clothes in a large zip-loc, just in case you go to dinner with some hot paintball chicka. Not really, hey snap out of it! This is just in case of rain, snow or some form of mudslide. Another nice necessity is a nice comfy camping chair, preferably one with a footrest, that way you can rest your tired achy bones after an all out offensive. This is also a good time to pull out your paintball marker and get it cleaned up and ready for play, that way there is no surprises or failures before you get out on the paintball field.

Now that the day is upon you and your getting yourself ready for that noon start, get your air filled and your gun chronoed, and take a last chance to meet your general face to face, make sure you tell him your team name and be the first team at the base. Ask the general if there is something your team can do for him. And don't forget to tell him your team name with every communication you have with him, that way he will remember your team when he starts filling out those most valuable awards.

Now its time to get your game on! Remember its not about who did this or who did that, its about having fun, which should be the biggest item on your checklist. And remember have a great time.
