All about crank. From the pedal to the bottom bracket is where this lever goes. It is responsible for transferring the power from you to the chain rings so that you can go and keep going.

Chain. This is the circular links and they also help in transferring your power to the cogs.

All about chain rings. These rings have teeth and they help in holding the chain in place. They are attached to the crank.

What is a bottom bracket? This is what is attached from the bike's body to the crankset.

All about handlebars. This is the horizontal bar with handgrips that is attached to the stem. You use this in order to steer the bicycle. All about saddles. The seat of the bicycle where you sit.

All about pedals. This is the platform that you place your feet on to pedal the bicycle. You will find that it's attached to the crank.

Hub. The central part of the wheel is the hub and this is where the spokes are attached.

Brake lever. This is a handlebar lever and is responsible for controlling the brakes. The right lever controls the rear brake and the left lever controls the front brake.

Brake cable. This cable is the thing that connects the mechanism of the brakes with the brake levers.

All about rims. This metallic ring keeps the spokes and tire separated.

All about a headset. This is the part of the bike that connects the handlebars with the stem's front fork.

Down tube. This is the frame section which goes from the bottom bracket to the stem.

Front shock. This is the front fork's shock absorber.

Idler pulley. On the bottom part of the rear derailleur is where you can see this particular pulley. It helps to keep the chain as tight as possible by apply spring tension.

Rear shock. This is the rear tire's shock absorber on the dual suspension bicycles.

What are spokes? These wires are thick and are also attached to the rim and bub of the wheel.

Spindle. You can define this as an axle that is freely rotating. This can be attached to the crank arms.

What is a skewer? This part is used to attached the wheel to the frame. It is composed of a metallic rod that runs through the wheel hub.

Wheel hub. This is the center of the wheel and it is also connected to the spokes.

All about stem. This part is attached to the steering tube as well as the handlebars to enable you to steer the bicycle.

All about seat post. This part supports the seat/saddle.
