Anastasia Ashley was born on February 10, 1987 in a surf town of San Clemente, California. She started swimming at age two, and was body boarding by age 3. When she was five years old, her family transferred to Hawaii where she began to discover how to surf. There were only a couple of female surfers at that time, so she mostly competed against the guys. She has been surfing in competitions since she was 7 years old and easily threw some spray, turned some heads and landed some sweet sponsor deals. Her list of sponsors consist of Oakley, Infinity Surfboards, Airwalk and PowerBar. And her plans and ambitions for the future? Nothing less than becoming a world champion.

Amongst current Anastasia Ashley news - she just got her personal signature shoe from Airwalk. Airwalk came out with two new signature shoe models - one is shaped by the foot of one pro skateboarder Andy Macdonald while the second one is shaped by the lovely foot of one pro surfer Anastasia Ashley.

They have a glitzy star logo and 3 diverse designs: Skate Lace ($40), brown lace up sneaker ($30), plus a ballet flat ($30). And Anastasia's comment on the shoes? "I was so honored to design my personal shoes-my character is really reflected in every single style," Ashley said.
